Eye of the Storm – Ink on Metal

Description

‘Eye of the Storm’ is a textured ink painting on an ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) sheet.
I first cut into the surface of the metal sheet using a Dremel tool.
Then, I mixed the ink with Gel Medium to help it bond to the surface of the sheet.
And finally, for the finishing touches, I added acrylic diamonds for extra sparkle and depth.
The acrylic diamonds were fused using a heat gun to help secure them firmly to the surface.

Care Instructions

• Only use mild dish soap and water with a soft cloth to clean your piece.
• Note, due to the hand-made nature of this product; some acrylic diamonds may become dislodged. You have the choice to either discard them (it won’t affect the look of your piece) or glue them back on using either superglue or gel medium.
• Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths, or products, as they may scratch the surface of your artwork.
• Hang indoors or outdoors (in the shade).
