How to create crushed glass fish and set them in resin

The original plan was to create three fish out of the crushed glass and resin, by making a mould out of 5mm thick foam board and then pouring another slab of resin for the fish to sit on.

Once cured, I wasn’t happy with the original idea, so moved on to plan B. So now we have two separate resin pieces.

The video also goes into detail on how the resin pieces are mounted into a couple of IKEA frames.

Materials required:

• Foam Board (5mm thick)
• Plastic bags or Painter’s Tape (to line the mould)
• Crushed Glass (or equivalent)
• Resin – I use U Resin Standard UV
• Pigments or paints to colour the resin
• Picture Frames
