How to create a Resin Sculpture Vase

This video goes into detail on how I created this Resin Art Sculpture Vase. I will show you how I covered the vase in resin and how I achieved the texture, plus how to make the ‘splash’ sculpture for the vase to sit in.

In this video we start out with pouring on to a flat surface. I used old round plates and covered them with plastic bin liners. Next I show you how to move it to the vase for moulding and shaping.

Also in the video, I go into detail on how I apply resin to a glass vase and how to tidy it up. The end result is that you get a water splash effect on the cured resin, that the vase can sit inside.

Materials used:

  • U Resin – Standard UV Resin
  • Gold Glitter
  • Glass Vase
  • Bin Liners

I hope you enjoy this video and that it inspires you to create your own resin sculptures.
