Create texture in your resin with multipurpose filler
For this project we are using multipurpose filler to create the pattern. Glitter pigment was used to highlight the raised areas and to add depth and a black metallic pigment was used to the crevices to create deeper shadows.

Here is a list of materials I used for this project (you can use anything similar that you already have):
- Wooden board (I used a $3 placemat from Kmart)
- Multipurpose filler, preferably the ready mixed variety
- Metallic silver paint
- Artisue Pigment Powder – Sparkle White (Pearl ex powder, metallic paint or glitter mixed with a bit of glaze will do)
- Artisue Pigment Powder – Black (Again Pearl ex powder or acrylic paint will work also)
Resin – I used U Resin
I hope you enjoyed this video and it gives you inspiration to create something similar.
