Kookaburra
The kookaburra is a relative of the kingfisher and is native to Australia and New Guinea. The kookaburra symbolises laughter and happiness after its call, which sounds like laughter. They are intelligent and social animals, they mate for life, and both parents are known to tend to their young. They can become relatively tame and are known to come up close at picnics, looking for a handout or two.
Hand drew from my reference photo.
