This is an original Acrylic on Scratchboard painting and scratch art of a Crow – by artist Sue Findlay.

Complete with hanging wire.

This original painting was created by first removing the ink from a scratchboard and then covering first with a layer of blue paint and then a layer of black acrylic paint. The details were then scratched into the board and enhanced with watercolour paint to give the blue tint to the bird and branches. Finally, the background clouds were engraved into the surface and covered with black paint to provide a subtle texture.
