Rolling Seas – Foil Art

Description

‘Rolling Seas’ is a painting on household foil.

The foil was first glued to an MDF panel and left to dry before adding a layer of ink.
Once dry, I mixed ink with gel medium to create a structure paste.
I then applied it to the surface of the foil using a palette knife.
Once dry, the gel medium dries clear to reveal the foil through the ink.

Care Instructions

• Only use mild dish soap and water with a soft cloth to clean your piece.
• Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths, or products, as they may scratch the surface of your artwork.
• For best results, hang by a window to capture the light reflections on the surface.
