Burnished Woods – Foil Art

Description

‘Burnished Woods’ is a painting on household foil.

The foil was first glued to an MDF panel and left to dry before adding a layer of ink.
Once dry, the trees were painted with black acrylic paint and highlighted with white accents.
I created the blue and white leaves using a palette knife to daub the paint onto the surface.

Care Instructions

• Only use mild dish soap and water with a soft cloth to clean your piece.
• Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths, or products, as they may scratch the surface of your artwork.
• For best results, hang by a window to capture the light reflections on the surface.
