Counterflow – Foil Art

Description

‘Counterflow’ is a textured ink painting on household foil.

The foil was first glued to an MDF panel and left to dry before adding a layer of ink.
Once dry, metal powder pigments were mixed with gel medium and applied to the surface of the foil and shaped using a palette knife.

Care Instructions

• Only use mild dish soap and water with a soft cloth to clean your piece.
• Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths, or products, as they may scratch the surface of your artwork.
• For best results, hang by a window to capture the light reflections on the surface.
