‘Defying Gravity’ – Freestanding Resin Vase

Resin artwork designed and created by Sue Findlay.

This resin piece is the very first sculpture/vase that I made from resin.
Once mixed and poured, resin takes several hours to fully cure. The art is in finding the optimum time to mould the resin into the shape of your desire. It takes lots of patience and practice to get the look you are after.

• Caring for your artwork, this sculpture is very delicate, so handle with care, only use mild dish soap and water with a microfibre cloth to clean your piece.
• Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths or products, as it may scratch the surface of your artwork.
• Do not place in direct sunlight, as it may cause the colours to fade over time.
• It is recommended that you position your art indoors away from any condensation and moisture, to avoid any damage to your piece.
